Collected pop tabs are recycled, generating much-needed funds to support the House and the thousands of families we serve each year. Plus, it’s a great way to introduce philanthropy to young people, especially in school environments!
Thanks to generous school children, families, businesses, clubs, and churches, over one billion pop tabs have been donated since the program’s inception in 1995, generating tens of thousands of dollars in pop tab revenue for the House.
There are multiple ways you can donate your pop tab collection to the Ronald McDonald House. Please choose whichever is most convenient for you:
If none of the above options work for you, tabs can also be taken to your nearest scrap metal or recycling process center. Once processed you can collect the money they offer and send that (in the form of a check) made out to RMHCCIN Attn: Pop Tab Program, 435 Limestone St., Indianapolis, IN 46202. Remember to include the name of your group (if applicable), complete mailing address, contact name and telephone number.
