It Was a Super Day for Bryce

Bryce, a 12-year-old boy from Slaughters, KY, loves hanging out with friends, listening to music, and watching football. Bryce is a kidney transplant recipient who stayed at the Ronald McDonald House for his follow-up care after his surgery at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.

During his stay at the House, Bryce got the chance of a lifetime – a free trip to Super Bowl 2012 in Indianapolis! The donation came from Kyle Parrish of Maine who won two Super Bowl tickets in a raffle through his work. When Kyle decided giving the tickets away to a child with an illness would bring him greater satisfaction and joy, he picked up the phone and called the Ronald McDonald House. “It meant so much to me to get to go to the game, to even have the tickets,” Bryce said

“Even though our stay in Indianapolis was difficult at times, we are so grateful to everyone at the Ronald McDonald House who was so good to us. Bryce had been through so much and we are so happy that he was able to have some fun,” said Bryce’s mother.
